The Kings Head & Alzheimers Charity Events:
 
We’ve teamed up with Steve Sudbury & The Alzheimers Society to send Steve & Yuan (his trusty teddy-bear companion) to Peru to trek the Inca Trail. There are several events coming up trying to help Steve raise the £3500 he needs to go for the charity.
 
 
Past Events:

Friday 21st August 09 – Wine & Cheese Club.
Celebrating wines from South America & cheeses from throughout the UK.  £15.oo per person (£5 of which will go to the charity).  There will also be a raffle on the night (and all proceeds from the raffle will go to charity)
 
Sunday 7th September 09 - Gosfield Goose Trail Raffle & Auction
Following on in the tradition of the Gosfield Scarecrow weekend, this years Goose Trail has ignited the creative passions in the village. There will be a prize awarding ceremony at The Kings Head at Gosfield at 7.30pm followed by the charity raffle & auction.  All proceeds from the raffle & auction will be in aid of Steve Sudbury & The Alzheimers Society.
 
I think you will agree that researching into Alzheimers and caring for people with the disease is a very noble cause and we at The Kings Head will be doing lots more to support the charity.
